Kudos to the developer for creating an optimized free alternative for the paid version of a similar extension by EDD. Although the plugin still works well with the latest WordPress 5.3.2, PHP 7.3.12, EDD 2.9.22, I believe the developer should release an update just to be on the safe side, making sure there are no errors happening on the back-end & also so that the wordpress repository stops showing the plugin hasn't been updated in the last 3 years.
