Use built in automatic installer or,
- Copy the plugin folder into /wp-content/plugins
- Activate plugin via the plugins page in the WordPress admin
- Go to Settings to configure.

- Added CSS rules makes no effect.
It seems to be other CSS overriding your rules. You can prevent this by adding !important in your rule.

I made some mistake in the code I had put in the editor and so the plugin didn't work initially. And I happened to approach Prasad for help. Within 20 minutes of my first email, the issue got resolved by the plugin developer Prasad Kirpekar. Thanks a lot Prasad. Really appreciate your help. The job is finally done!
